What The Food

go back

Alserkal Avenue, Dubai

event is over

Experiences from event

It sounds like Alserkal Avenue's What The Food event is returning on May 6-7, and it will be even bigger than before.

The event will feature professional food photography workshops with Akira Back's Giovanni Ledon and photographer Andrea Salerno, butter-making sessions with Moza Almatrooshi, vine rolling workshops with Haya's Kitchen, and a tablescaping demonstration for kids with Rashid Almheiri. There will also be food stalls from Cucina del Sul and a chef's table from chef Hadrien.

Visitors can also attend workshops and talks on topics such as organic farming and zero-waste food, catch film screenings, and explore creative works during slow art walks.

Our review

Generally it’s always nice to have Alserkal Avenue a bit crowded. Nice live music, tasty smells – good spot to spend a few weekend hours with your buddies. However food court prices are high, I would say. 3 Small Tacos for 50 AED, for example.
