Welcome to the Dubai Crown Prince Camel Festival! This exciting event is sponsored by none other than Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council.
The festival will take place from 7th to 18th of January at the Al Marmoom Camel Race Track. This year, it's the festival's fifth edition!
You'll get to witness thrilling races of purebred Arabian camels in five different categories, with distances ranging from 5km to 8km.
If you're cheering for a specific participant, you can do so from the sidelines and maybe, just maybe, your favourite camel will take home a prize from the substantial cash purse that's up for grabs.
