In addition to the impressive collection, the library offers study rooms, spaces for exhibits, a café, courtyard, bookstore, and an indoor-outdoor theatre that can host up to 550 guests for special events. The library's nine levels spanning 54,000 sqm are designed in the shape of a traditional Islamic lectern, making it a remarkable architectural landmark.
Visitors should note that children below 5 years old are not allowed to enter the library and that clothing must cover shoulders and knees. The library is accessible to all and offers a membership programme for residents, making it a top spot for leisure and learning in the city.
